Part load is when goods on a vehicle do not fill the space completely. Although bigger than groupage it is not loaded to full capacity as a fully loaded vehicle would be. Groupage refers to loads that are dispatched by multiple companies and are transported on the same load carrier. LTT (less than truckload) is a common acronym that groupage is referred to in the industry.
