Football Sponsorship
As part of our commitment to give back to the community we are delighted to sponsor two local youth football teams, Dreghorn Moorfield and Troon Thistle.
We understand the importance of giving back to the local community and supporting our young people. That’s why we make every effort to support youngsters with opportunities that help them to grow and excel.
Being huge sports fans ourselves, one of the ways we wanted to demonstrate this was by sponsoring the football teams. This has allowed the teams to get kitted out in brand new strips.
Neil Morrison and Peter Irvine, Directors at Galaxy Transport, commented:
“As parents we feel it’s very important to encourage and support today’s youngsters and give them every opportunity to thrive. That’s why we wanted Galaxy Transport to get involved with the teams and make sure the lads are kitted out with new football kits. The young talent in Scottish sports is phenomenal and we are delighted that we can help support this.”
Based in Kilmarnock, they are currently top of the league and remain undefeated this season. This talented bunch will no doubt win the league this year so watch this space. The team are currently playing in the West of Scotland league. Focused and competitive, Dreghorn Moorfield are an ambitious club. Galaxy Transport are proud to be able to support the team.

Troon Thistle YFC is an SFA Quality Mark Club [Silver Award], bringing football to children and youth in the Troon and District area. Based in Troon and currently playing 9 a side, the team will be moving to 11 a side in the summer. This is when the team will also become competitive.
Troon Thistle were founded in 1970 and for over 50 years have been a pillar of growth and community spirit in Troon. At its heart Troon Thistle is a youth organisation run by parents and is committed to supporting young people to develop life long skills.
Club Manager, Sean Irvine, told us:
“Our sponsorship from Galaxy Transport is massive for the club. The strips look absolutely fantastic, easily the best we’ve had, and the boys love them. Huge thanks to Neil and Peter.”
